“This is the best gift anyone has ever given to me - coming to Abide!”

My heart is full! Thank you for inviting me. The Lord met me today. I am in the midst of a battle and felt defeated. Now I know I can keep going. Love you ladies

I started participating in the Loudoun Burn right about the time it was started. One of our sons was at the very first Burn and I joined to back him later on. However, he had to move out of state to go to school, and I did not feel comfortable or able to do even an hour of worship lead or playing my guitar. Our son was firm that I get on board, and so were Teresa and Bo. The first time I led worship I was so fearful that I would not have enough songs to cover the hour or have the strength to finish, but God proved Himself faithful, that He’s the One who qualifies me. Teresa also introduced me to David’s Tent when they first came to Washington, D.C.

Teresa, as I said to you, you have orchestrated a meeting in which the Holy Spirit is comfortable to be present and active.  That is what being the “Body of Christ” is all about!  Jesus was glorified in your meeting.  I bless and thank Him for you!

Good Evening Teresa! It was a blessing to attend today's meeting with you and all the ladies.  God was tangibly present in every aspect. What a joy it was to go back "home" to the church building where The Lord brought my husband and I together. Meeting new ladies and reuniting with others put the icing on the cake of deliciousness that the Holy Spirit served us

"The Loudoun Burn has been such a powerful experience of spiritual growth for me. There is so much freedom in the worship. It is different than going to worship in a traditional church setting, where the worship may be on a stricter time schedule. During the Loudoun Burn, we can linger longer in the moments with the Lord. It is also beneficial meeting other people from different backgrounds and different churches. We have met a lot of great new friends at the Burn!"

Such a beautiful gathering at NoVA Abide! Felt like a taste of heaven. So grateful for this group

Teresa and Bo have created a 'family of worshippers' environment that allows the freedom to just completely fall into Abba's loving arms. Between the wonderful people that I have met there, and the Spirit of God that resides in each Burn gathering that I have been a part of, I can say that I have truly been blessed. The strength that I have gained as a result of being a part of the Burn has been tremendous. The amazing thing is that you can be at the Burn just lifting up God and when you happen to open your eyes, you see a 'sea' of different kinds of people all on one accord, lifting up the same Jesus, unashamed and in prayer for one another. I feel so safe and refreshed and healed in the presence of God at the Abide gatherings. I love that there is not agenda but to encounter God, not “another thing” it is THE Thing to encounter God

The unity and love here is amazing. It is so interwoven among all the women and Holy Spirit!
